Join us tonight as we welcome back another successful graduate to campus: Visual effects artist Jonathan Jamison will be in the Entertainment Business auditorium at 6 p.m. to speak to students about his career in the VFX industry.
Jonathan has worked with critically-acclaimed studios including DreamWorks, Sony Pictures Imageworks, and Warner Bros., and is currently a visual effects artist at Rhythm & Hues. The Marina del Rey, California-based VFX and animation studio has been credited with work on dozens of commercials and films including The Hunger Games, Red Riding Hood, and X-Men: First Class.
He’ll be talking tonight about his recent visual effects work on Transformers 3, the post pipeline process for feature-film VFX work, demo reel dos and don’ts, resume pitfalls, and career opportunities at Rhythm & Hues. Tonight’s presentation will be an insightful glimpse into what it takes to work at Rhythm & Hues and succeed in the visual effects industry.
