Veteran music attorney Al Schlesinger is no stranger to Full Sail: he’s a frequent guest speaker and has even taught a Music Business course here in the past. He’s back in town again this week, meeting with Entertainment Business and Music Business students for one-on-one focus sessions and guest lecturing in tomorrow afternoon’s Music Copyright & Publishing course.
If you’re not currently enrolled in the MCP course, you can still interact with Al during a Wimba Q&A session today from 4 to 5 p.m. in the EB/MB Guest Speaker Virtual Classroom at fullsail.wimba.com. He’ll be taking questions from students, offering up career advice, and sharing stories from his experience as a songwriter, artist, manager, and record label owner.
Al specializes in music and intellectual property law and has been practicing in California for more than 40 years. He was formerly president of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and has represented high-profile clients like The Doors, The Beach Boys, and Melissa Etheridge.
