Today: Structure of Game Production Games Expo

Block out some time in your schedule this afternoon if you like awesome, student-made games. Four student groups will be showcasing their games at this month’s Structure of Game Production Project Expo from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in FS3B 304. The Expo presentations are an open floor environment where guests can play student-made games and developers can share their insight (and war stories) with students who are earlier in the degree program.
Take a look at this month’s SGP games:
Sim West
It’s time to see just how the west was won. Players must sort through the trials and tribulations of managing a new town in the old west as they build buildings, trade with traders, and appease the natives while forging their way to victory.
Medusa
This four-player co-op shooter puts players in the middle of a survival-horror experience. Fight off swarms of mutated ocean-life…or get left alone in the dark. Trust me, you don’t want to get left alone in the dark.
Battle Codes
Battle Codes is a classic-style, 2D-beat-’em-up title that allows players to create their own characters, and pit them against one another in a good ol’ fashioned brawl.
Pathfinder Tactics
In this tactical turn-based RPG, you must journey with your companions as you fight to find your way to your father’s killer. Once you get there, you must avenge his death (duh!).
See you there!
