It’s not just the stunning athleticism that draws you into the game when you’re watching ESPN. Music plays a significant role in the vast majority of the channel’s programming, and today Full Sail students will have a chance to learn more about the process that connects the music with the visuals at our ESPN Speaker Series with Coordinating Director of Music Claude A. Mitchell.
Claude has been heading the Music Department at ESPN for 10 years, overseeing the creation of music, handling of licensing, in-house sound design, and audio mixing of pre-edited features.
Claude has also spent a combined 10+ years at major music publishers such as EMI and Polygram & Universal Music Publishing as a Creative Director, signing songwriters to the company and developing their careers.
Claude will share his experiences and knowledge with Full Sail students at Full Sail Live today at 1:00 p.m. All students are welcome, so see you there!
