Spotted on Campus: Singer Bren Radney [Photo]

November began with campus visit from R&B singer Bren Radney who came to tour our audio facilities and even drop in on some recording classes.

The artist got her break in the music industry as part of Justin Timberlake’s “My Grammy Moment” contest in 2007, and is currently signed to his label Tennman/RCA. Timberlake launched Tennman following the competition, and has since released records by other artists such as FreeSol, Esmee Denters, and Matt Morris.

Bren’s visit was just the beginning of a music-heavy November on campus, which also included a trip from R&B star Marc Gordon of the popular 80s and 90s R&B group LeVert, tomorrow’s graduate spotlight on Paul Garner, general manager of the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts, and and next week’s visit from Michele Bastone – station manager for Radio Disney.
