Hollywood and New York City are some of the first places that usually come to mind when students think about locations to launch their careers in the music and film industries. But producer Sondra Sottile found success by establishing herself in the untapped international market, producing music videos, albums, and films from her homebase in Rome.
Sottile’s currently in Florida as she completes post-production work for a handful of music videos for South American recording artist Caroline Celico. She visited campus to speak to students in the Entertainment Business Auditorium about her career and to give advice on building credentials in some of the more unconventional entertainment markets. Throughout her presentation, she welcomed questions from students and offered up examples from her 20+ years of experience working in the industry.
