Propellerhead’s Reason software has quickly ascended amongst the ranks of digital audio workstations since its launch in 2000. And with the recent launch of Reason 6 (along with Propellerhead additions Balance and Reason Essentials), die-hards and novices alike have something to be excited about.
Full Sail will be hosting a product demo on campus in the ESPN Sports Lab on November 15 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Propellerhead in-house artist relations and all-around Reason expert James Bernard will be showcasing some of the software’s new features to students and faculty, as well as answering questions about how the products can be incorporated into the workflow of musicians and engineers.
The sixth version of Reason adds audio recording and editing, a studio grade mixing console, amp modeling, vocal and pitch editing tools, heaps of new creative effects, and other additions to the Reason software package. Reason Essentials packs in all of the recording, editing, effects, instruments, mixing, and mastering tools needed to create a cohesive sound in one streamlined package.
