Bryan Shutt is an veteran of the game industry with a career spanning 20+ years. He is currently working as an Art Director at Ubisoft. He has worked on almost every gaming platform in his long career including Consoles, PC, handheld, and mobile. Bryan attended Mass College of Art in Boston with a focus in illustration. In 1995 he joined the game industry working for Sierra/Papyrus creating racing games. While at Papyrus he worked on one of the first physics based games ever made. It was there that he mastered the craft of what we call “pixel art” today. In 1999 he joined Vicarious Vision as its 5th employee and helped grow the company to what it is now. While at VV he worked on the following franchises: Tony Hawk, Spiderman, Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Guitar Hero, Crash Bandicoot, and Skylanders. In 2011 was invited to Montreal to work with Patrice Désilets (the creator of Assassins Creed) on a new franchise. In January of 2013 THQ was purchased by Ubisoft and Bryan began working on Watchdogs. He is currently still with Ubisoft and is now helping develop a VR title aimed at consumer hardware like the Oculus Rift.
