We stopped by the set of Robo-Dog earlier this week. The production, which was filmed on campus for four days, is part of the Film department’s Flight Plan program, an on-campus production arm that gives students, staff, and grads the opportunity to work on real-world productions. Robo-Dog’s crew is almost entirely made up of grads and current students. Film Production Course Director Kenny Beaumont is the producer.
“It’s a great opportunity for grads to work with current students and serve as their mentors,” said Kenny.
Robo-Dog stars Wallace Shawn, an actor known for his roles in The Princess Bride, Clueless, and the Toy Story franchise. The film will be released in 2015.
