A Look Back at Global Game Jam 2012

They came, they coded, and they most certainly conquered. This past weekend was the Global Game Jam, in which game developers team together to create a game within a straight 48-hour block.

Full Sail University acted as the local host for the worldwide event, and the Central Florida GGJ team was able to crank 12 different games, including a Kinect platformer called Jörmunrunner. Some of the team members kept the rest of the world updated on their progress this weekend via Twitter. We’ve grabbed some of the highlights here:

  1. fantastic event. I put a writeup on my experiences at http://www.fullsailblog.com/events-and-news/student-news/a-look-back-at-global-game-jam-2012 . Kudos to Steve VanZandt and krewe for putting this together.
