We know, we know – it’s almost been a whole year since the last Florida Film Festival, and at this point you can hardly wait to feast your eyes on the best in current independent and foreign cinema. Well, you’re in luck – the festival organizers are gearing up for the event’s 21st anniversary this spring (April 13-22), and recently unveiled this year’s theme at Enzian Theater, Central Florida’s non-profit cultural organization.
While the itinerary and film schedule has not yet been announced, festival-goers can look forward to over 160 cutting-edge films, 100 visiting filmmakers, plenty of special guests, and non-stop special events over the course of the ten days of film, food, and fun. The Festival features a diverse lineup of program sections including American Independent Narrative and Documentary Shorts and Features, International Shorts and Features, Animated Shorts and Features, Midnight Films, Music Movies, Family Films, Food Films, Retro Films, and a Florida Sidebar.
2012 will mark Full Sail University’s ninth year as the Florida Film Festival’s primary sponsor, and the fifteenth year that we’ve been involved with the event – so stay tuned for more FFF news and announcements.
