Regardless of what field you’re working in, the ability to brand yourself is an important asset in connecting with others in your industry and expanding your career. Tonight at 7:00 p.m. all Full Sail students are invited to attend an online Wimba session with guest speakers Jessica Macera, MBA and Cyndee Woolley, APR entitled [You]: The Personal Branding Project.

The workshop is designed to challenge students to uncover their truest priorities and values, identify their personal Unique Selling Position, and begin sharing that vision with the right audiences. Woolley holds an Accredited Public Relations professional (APR) designation from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and has over a decade of experience in marketing and public relations. Macera has been helping others grow their businesses since 2002, and formed Business Dynamix Solutions, LLC in 2007 to provide business management services such as bookkeeping, marketing and strategic planning, as well as business growth coaching.

“While attending the PRSA 2011 International Conference in October, I hand the opportunity to attend Cyndee and Jessica’s personal branding session. The workshop is great because it’s not unique to one degree program, and can be translated to any student at any point in their journey,” says Full Sail Internet Marketing Course Director Amy Cloutier. “The biggest value for students comes from the marketing aspect – this is a competitive employment market, and it is important to showcase what sets you apart from the pack. Whether it be seeking employment or building authority within their industry, the tools gained in this workshop will guide them to be successful in personal branding.”

All students are welcome to attend the online session in the Wimba-IMMS Collaborative Wimba room. At least one hour prior to tonight’s session, visit this link to get more instructions on entering the Wimba virtual training room.
