With mixing credits on more than 725 records over the course of his twenty-plus year career, Chris Lord-Alge is definitely an in-demand figure in the recording arts industry. He’s taken some time out of his busy schedule to talk about his work with Full Sail students, faculty, and staff tomorrow afternoon in the Full Sail Live Venue.
Chris initially gained notoriety in the 1980s while working for New York’s Unique Recording Studios, where he mixed albums from Prince, James Brown, Tina Turner, and Bruce Springsteen, among others. More recently, his mixing credits appear on albums from Green Day, Paramore, and The Smashing Pumpkins.
The conversation with Chris Lord-Alge will be held in the Full Sail Live Venue tomorrow, April 5 at 3 p.m., and will be moderated by Darren Schneider, Course Director of Advanced Session Recording. Doors open at 2:30 p.m. and the presentation is open to all students, faculty, and staff. After the talk, Chris will greet students and sign autographs in the lobby of the Venue.
