If you’re a movie fan, it’s a pretty good week to be on campus, thanks to a trio of cinema-viewing opportunities brought to you by the Career Development department, the X-Factor student club, and the Library. Check out the details – plus info on all of the week’s other events – below:


  • This month’s Show Production Final Project Concert features a DJ from San Francisco and a local pop, soul, hip-hop, and jazz band. More details.


  • Gene Butler and Lizzie Brenner from the South by Southwest music, film, and technology festival will visit campus to talk about the logistics behind organizing such a major event, plus share info on volunteer and internship opportunities. More details.


  • Unleash your inner rockstar during Karaoke Night at the Library. More details.


  • This month’s In-Flight Movie is God Bless America, directed by Bobcat Goldthwait. Melissa Verona, a Full Sail Film grad and one of the film’s PAs, will be there to talk about her work on set. More details.
  • Student club X-Factor will showcase some of the school’s best female-produced films on the Jumbotron during “Short Films on the Big Screen.” More details. 



  • Help sterilize soap to be recycled and donated to families living in poverty during this month’s Pure Motivation volunteer event. More details.
