There are some great events happening around Full Sail this week, including resume workshops and guest lectures for both campus and online students. This Saturday is also the American Cancer Society’s annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk at downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola, which Full Sail helps to produce. Monday:

  • Career Development is hosting another Resume Workshop for Online Students via the GoTo Training platform. More details.
  • It’s orientation week, which means you can mingle with new students and get samples from local vendors during the monthly SCA Networking Summit in the Full Sail Live Venue. More details.

Wednesday:

  • Independent filmmaker Stevie Long will Skype in to talk to students about the unique strategy he used to get his first film distributed. More details.
  • Check out local Latin jazz guitarist A.M.P. during this month’s Show Production Final Project Concert. More details.
  • The Internet Marketing program is hosting a virtual lecture featuring business advisor and social media correspondent Sean Gardner. More details.

  • The Library’s Horror Double Feature movie night series continues with screenings of Let the Right One In and The Descent. More details.

Saturday:

  • Several Full Sail faculty members and students will be taking part in this weekend’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event for the American Cancer Society at downtown Orlando’s Lake Eola. Pure Motivation is looking for volunteers to help out during the walk. More details.

    Every week Full Sail has lots of events, I can’t hold myself to attend! This week I still want to go to watch the horror movie. The orientations are really important for me this week. I am going to star my career. I hope these events can give me a new beginning.
