Six Grads Who Worked on High Moon Studios’ ‘Transformers: War for Cybertron’ Return to Campus for Panel
Those wacky, shape-changing robots we call Transformers have enjoyed quite a bit of longevity over the past few decades, from their origin as a Hasbro toy line to cartoons, summer blockbuster films, and – of course – video games.
Activision’s Transformers: War for Cybertron was released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC earlier this summer by High Moon Studios. Full Sail recently welcomed the studio to campus to participate in a panel to discuss the launch and behind-the-scenes making of the game.
Six of the panel members also happened to be Full Sail graduates: Troy Humphreys (Game Development- Senior Programmer), Keith Staines (Game Development- Programmer), Mark Loperfido (Recording Arts Associate- Sound Designer), Mike Niederquell (Recording Arts- Sound Designer), Keith Evans (Game Development- Game Designer), and Jared Adkins (Game Design- User Interface Artist).
The grads also offered tips to students about finding a job in the gaming industry after graduation, and held a Q&A session with students, faculty, and staff.
