'Evening Brawl' Video Game Tournament Attracts a Crowd

As part of the Library Live series of events, last Thursday’s “Evening Brawl” video game tournament saw 43 students compete in head-to-head Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Street Fighter IV – Arcade Edition matches. After hours of battles, Game Development student Gerson Larin was named the champion (and Film student Devin Castanet took second place). The library was packed with students who came out to have some free snacks and cheer for their classmates as each virtual knockout was delivered.

Other Library Live events in the past have included open-mic nights and movie screenings. All of the library’s events are free and open to all Full Sail students.
