Students Learn About Careers in Reality Television in Presentation by Bunim/Murray Productions

It’s hard to believe that there was once a time when reality television shows weren’t a staple of society’s viewing habits. Bunim/Murray Productions can be thanked for helping to launch the craze, as the independent production company is responsible for hit series such as The Real World, Road Rules, The Simple Life, and Starting Over.

Full Sail’s Career Development department recently welcomed representatives from Bunim/Murray to campus to talk to students about the company’s history, provide a view of what working in the industry is like, and reveal some of the potential job opportunities that exist for students after graduation.

During their presentation in the Full Sail Live Venue, Human Resources Director Lisa Nicholson and Human Resources Staff Associate Mercedes Mathers also offered up their insight about what Bunim/Murray looks for when considering candidates for internship and employee positions. They also answered questions from students directly during an open Q&A session following the presentation.
