Students Act Out a Computer Hacking Scenario for Digital Literacy Class [Spotted on Campus]

Full Sail’s library is a popular meeting spot for students working on group projects. During a recent trip to the library, we happened on a group of students making a short video for a class. The five students are taking Digital Literacy, one of four core classes taken by all students during their first few months.

The plot of the video was fairly simple: a girl sits at a computer perusing her Facebook page, gets distracted and walks away without logging out. Meanwhile, another girl gets on the computer and posts something mean on her page. The students had one hour to shoot the video on a smartphone and then edit the video using iMovie. The video was meant to illustrate one aspect of digital citizenship, which the students are studying.
