It’s summertime here in sunny Florida, and that means that Full Sail students have plenty of opportunities to get outside and partake in a variety of fun activities when they’re not in class. But if there’s anything that we all should have learned from our parents, it’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt. To that end, Full Sail’s Student Community Association recently hosted their recurring Health & Safety Fair event in the Entertainment Business Lobby to give students information about the many local community resources they have at their disposal to remain healthy and safe during their college years.
Featuring more than two dozen organizations and companies promoting a message of safety and well-being to the Full Sail student body, the event caught a lot of walk-by traffic throughout the day. Students were able to stop and talk to representatives from local security companies, fitness centers, Planet Smoothie, and more.
Of course, free samples from food and drink companies may have also been responsible for drawing some of the crowd, as the offer of free food can act as a human magnet in the world of the college student. LA Fitness was also on-hand to put students to the test in their “Full Sail’s Fittest” fitness challenge.
