Spotted on Campus: Retired NFL Player Henry Lawrence

Last week’s Show Production Final Project Concert featured a performance from retired NFL player Henry Lawrence. The former Oakland Raider, now full-time musician, performed a set of R&B and soul covers with his 12-piece band. Earlier in the day, he sat with a group of about a dozen Full Sail students for a GPS roundtable discussion about his career in the NFL. Henry played for 13 years as a defensive tackle on the Raiders, won three Super Bowls, and was selected for the Pro Bowl twice. He is also a member of the Florida Sports Hall of Fame. He’ll release his own album of original music sometime next year.

The Show Production Final Project Series is part of the Live Event Production course. Students in the course combine everything they’ve learned about concert audio, lighting, media server, and video technologies throughout the Show Production program to produce their own live show.
