Spotted on Campus: DJ Buddha and Dancehall Group T.O.K.

While they were in town last week working on a few projects, dancehall-reggae group T.O.K. and world music producer DJ Buddha toured Full Sail’s campus and talked to students about their success in the music industry.

DJ Buddha has received worldwide acclaim for his remixes of Daddy Yankee’s “Gasolina” and T.O.K.’s “She’s Hotter,” and he’s worked extensively as the tour DJ and personal A&R rep for Pitbull. T.O.K. has been Jamaica’s leading dancehall group for more than a decade. They are releasing their first crossover/international album later this year.

T.O.K. was accompanied by recent Film graduate Candice Buchanan (a television producer and the host of two Caribbean music radio shows), who was interviewing the group for Jamaica’s National Weekly News.
