Full Sail’s International Outreach team is excited to announce an upcoming trip to Southeast Asia, where they’ll be able to reconnect with numerous Full Sail grads in the region, as well as meet with high school students who are interested in coming to Full Sail in the future.
Between Jan. 26 and Jan. 28, the team will be appearing at three educational fairs:
- Bangkok: Jan. 26 Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel 518/8 Ploenchit Road
- Singapore: Jan. 27 Singapore Conference Hall 7 Shenton Way
- Kuala Lumpur: Jan. 28 JW Marriott Hotel Kuala Lumpur 183 Jalan Bukit Bintang
The team will also be meeting up with several grads during their trip, including Surin Tan, a 2001 Recording Arts graduate who has worked for the MTV Asia Music Awards, has run sound for several major Asian pop stars, and is currently working on a project with a symphony orchestra in Singapore; Surin will also be present at the educational fair in Bangkok on Jan. 26. Additionally, the team will be catching up with grads Pakorn Musikaboonlert (a pop musician who’s scored multiple #1 and Top Ten singles in the Thai pop charts) and Promsorn Riewpakorn (owner and engineer of Bangkok’s Studio 28); Pakorn and Promsorn are currently in the midst of opening up one of the largest and most modern recording studios in Thailand, a project we’re all anxious to learn more about.
