Steve Krug is best known as the author of Don’t Make Me Think: A Common Sense Approach to Web Usability, now in its second edition with over 300,000 copes in print. And tonight, all Full Sail students will get a chance to learn from him during an online Wimba session at 8:00 p.m.
“Don’t Make Me Think is on so many ‘Best Of’ and ‘Required Reading’ lists for web designers and marketers alike,” says Full Sail Internet Marketing Course Director Dan Gorgone. “Plain and simple, the expertise that Steve Krug shares on usability and testing helps us make websites better. This talk with Krug will be a great opportunity to hear his thoughts on how usability has shaped our industries and where they will be heading.”
Last year, Krug completed work on his follow-up, the usability testing handbook Rocket Surgery Made Easy: The Do-It-Yourself Guide to Finding and Fixing Usability Problems. Both of his books were based on the 20+ years he’s spent as a usability consultant for a wide variety of clients like Apple, Bloomberg.com, Lexus.com, NPR, the International Monetary Fund, and many others. His consulting firm, Advanced Common Sense is based in Chestnut Hill, MA.
All students are welcome to attend the online session in the Wimba-IMMS Collaborative Wimba room. At least one hour prior to tonight’s session.
