On-Campus Blood Drive

Full Sail students and faculty were able to make a big difference in helping to save lives with a recent blood drive put together with Florida’s Blood Centers. For two days, buses were stationed outside of Buildings 1, 3, and 4, giving passersby the opportunity to donate blood to those in need.

Student donors received GPS credit, a free baseball cap, and a free mini-physical (including tests for blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood type). But hey, all of that seems pretty minuscule when compared to the real payoff:  when all was said and done, the event was a great success. 151 people registered to give blood and donated a total of 121 units, which will contribute to 363 lives saved.
