Full Sail’s Fifth Annual Hall of Fame Week kicks off next Wednesday, February 19, and more than a dozen new panels have been added to the already-packed schedule.
Some of the just-announced panels include “The Business of Commercial Art,” a conversation with 2009 Hall of Fame Inductee Jayson Whitmore (Royale), and “PlayPro Media Presents: The Birth of Hip Hop and How Its Evolution Has Shaped the Modern Music Industry,” featuring producer and rapper DJ Hurricane. The full and updated schedule is available at halloffame.fullsail.edu. Students can continue to RSVP to the sessions they want to attend over on Connect.
Many panels will also be available for live, online streaming, including Demo Castellon’s “Ask Me Anything” session, “Life as an Indie Game Developer,” and “A Look Behind the Scenes of Modern Cartoons: Nickelodeon’s ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.'” The list of events accessible via live, online streaming is available at fullsailblog.com/livestream; it will continue to be updated throughout the week.
The Fifth Annual Hall of Fame Week will also include an Induction Ceremony for the six inductees and a three-day Music Festival on the Backlot, which is free and open to the public. Set times are now available.
Be sure to stay tuned to halloffame.fullsail.edu and @fullsail on Twitter (#FullSailHOF) for the most up-to-date information as we near closer to next week’s festivities.
