Hoping to give their online students a chance to be a bigger part of the campus experience, the Music Business, Entertainment Business, Internet Marketing, and Sports Marketing & Media bachelor’s degree departments have organized Campus Connection, a series of educational, networking, and other events to be held at Full Sail on September 18 and 19.
The two-day event for online undergraduate business students will include mini-classes, networking workshops, notable guest speakers, on-campus field trips, and more. Faculty members will cover topics ranging from music, entertainment, and photography to entrepreneurship, law, and marketing.
“We realized that graduation is the first time many online students come to campus,” says Jackie Otero, the Program Manager for Entertainment Business and Music Business. “We want to give them a reason to travel here before that and get a taste of campus life. They’ll network with each other and meet their instructors, but also get a mini-classroom experience as well.”
Online students can get additional information about the event over on Connect. There is no extra cost to attend (you’re responsible for your own travel and accommodations in Winter Park, Florida), but students must RSVP by July 31 to reserve their spot. We’re looking forward to seeing you on campus this September!
