After naming Media Design MFA graduates Amy Jackson and Chris Tripputi as “Students to Watch” in its January 2012 issue, Graphic Design USA magazine has again recognized Full Sail, this time in the March 2012 issue on its list of Designer-Friendly Schools. Along with eight other institutions, Full Sail was selected as a leader in the field for educating creatives in the art and design industries.

“Our creative culture is so unique that it would be hard not to recognize us as a designer-friendly institution,” said Suzanne Johnson, a Course Director in the Digital Arts & Design and Graphic Design programs. “The instructor and student roles at Full Sail are not divided like they are in a traditional university, they’re balanced. It’s interesting to see how this relationship contributes to a true collaborative spirit in the classroom, especially during critiques.”

Graphic Design USA has been a go-to source for graphic design and creative professionals since 1963. The Designer-Friendly Schools list is part of an initiative to increase coverage of art and design schools.
