Full Sail: You’re on tour together with Stevie Nicks, what do you both listen to on the bus after a show?
Donovan Friedman: Generally nothing loud. I still want to listen to music but I don’t need the assault on my hearing that I’m used to in my job. So I try to mix it up a lot. I’ll listen to the Eagles and a lot of classic rock, but sometimes I’ll just put on Bach because I want something different.
David Coyle: For me, it depends on the tour. Whatever band I’m usually out with, I probably don’t want to listen to them – I need a little decompression. I grew up with metal and techno, so a lot of times I’ll go back and listen to trance for several hours on end.
FS: Do you still go to concerts when you’re not on the road?
DC: I don’t get the chance to go to too many shows. I have two boys now, so it’s turned into the Wiggles and Barney. All my shows have ended up being kids concerts – it’s something else that’s for sure.
