Grads Credited on Calle 13’s 2011 Latin Grammy Album of the Year ‘Entren Los Que Quieran’

The results are in, and Full Sail grads were credited on some of the big winners at this week’s 12th Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards.

Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Calle 13 won nine awards out of ten nominations, including Album of the Year for Entren Los Que Quieran. Full Sail grads John Blais (Engineer/Mixer, ’08 Recording Arts) and Charles Wakeman (Engineer/Mixer, ’06 Entertainment Business/Recording Arts) are both credited on the album, and received their own Latin GRAMMY statues. ’92 Recording Arts grad Tom Baker also scored his own statue for Best Engineered Album for his work on Mana’s Drama Y Luz. 

In total, there were six total graduates who worked on five total GRAMMY-winning projects in eight different categories, and three Full Sail grads took home their own Latin GRAMMYs. Check out the Full Sail winners below:
