This October the Major League Gaming (MLG) 2013 Pro Circuit continues with the Major League Gaming Fall Invitational on Full Sail campus. The event will take place October 18 and 19, a new two-day format, with Full Sail Live serving as the host venue.
This year will also mark the official debut of DOTA 2 on the MLG Pro Circuit, as well as continue the robust competitive series for Call of Duty®: Black Ops II – which will lead into the MLG Fall Championship in Columbus, Ohio in late November.
We’ll report back with ticketing information, as well as the full lineup of Major League Gaming Fall Invitational activities on campus, with the schedule of events currently including:
- MLG Fall DOTA 2 Invitational – On Friday, October 18, the top four MLG DOTA 2 NA League teams will compete live. The first place finisher will receive $10,000 and an invitation to compete at the MLG Fall Championship. The second place finisher will receive $5,000.
- MLG Fall Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Invitational – On Saturday, October 19 the top four Call of Duty®: Black Ops II teams based on the MLG NA Xbox 360 Pro Points Rankings as of September 16 will go head to head for a first place prize of $10,000. Second place will receive $5,000 and all teams will earn at least 2000 Pro Points.
Gaming fans will have the opportunity to attend the Major League Gaming Fall Invitational in person or keep up with the action online, with details about live spectating opportunities to be announced in the coming weeks. For online viewers, the MLG Fall Invitational will be broadcast at www.majorleaguegaming.com beginning Friday, October 18.
While the event is still awhile off, fans can spend the weeks leading up to it catching DOTA 2 and Call of Duty®: Black Ops II qualifying tournaments on the Major League Gaming site, with the schedule available online.
