Full Sail Students Help Improve Quality of Lake Tuskawilla at Pure Motivation Lake Restoration Event
Full Sail University’s Pure Motivation group recently got the chance to get their feet wet during the organization’s latest volunteer project, the Tuskawilla Lake Restoration Project. Pairing with biologists from the Seminole County Lake Management Program and other volunteer groups, Full Sail students worked to help improve the water quality of the lake by removing invasive plants, and replanting with the native species.
Pure Motivation holds monthly events that bring Full Sail’s student body together to help aid different community-based organizations that are in need. Since the group’s launch in 2008, students have contributed their creative compassion in a variety of efforts designed to positively impact the local community, including collaborations with Hope Now International, Harvest Time International, Wreaths Across America, Give Kids the World, and more.
