Full Sail Grads Credited on 2017 Emmy Awards

Full Sail graduates worked on a number of winners at the 69th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Veep and Big Little Lies.

The 69th Primetime Emmy Awards were held on Sunday, September 17 honoring the accomplishments individuals who contribute to programming across broadcast, cable, and streaming services alike. Full Sail is proud to announce that several grads worked on some of the award-winning shows and series.

Three Full Sail graduates contributed to HBO’s award-winning comedy Veep, which was nominated in 18 categories and received five awards including Outstanding Comedy series. Diego Garzon (Associate Producer; Film, 2006 and Entertainment Business, 2009), Jamison Rabbe (Dubbing Re-Recording Mixer; Recording Arts, 2011), and Joshua Fletcher (DIT Engineer; Film, 2013) all worked on the show.

HBO also found success in its seven-part miniseries Big Little Lies, which received an impressive 16 nominations and took home eight wins, including Outstanding Limited Series. Full Sail alumni Bob Riley (Second Second Assistant Director; Film, 1999), Allison Rushton (Additional Second Assistant Director; Film, 2006), Steven Gurman (Sound Post Studio Manager; Recording Arts, 2011), and Jason “J” Seeman (ADR Mixer; Recording Arts, 2003) were involved with the series.

Three Full Sail alumni– Benjamin “Ben” Noll (Production Assistant; Film, 2012), Diego Garzon (Production Coordinator; Film, 2006 and Entertainment Business, 2009), and Jacob Cooper (Production Assistant; Film, 2016) worked on The Voice, which took the win for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program.
