Students, faculty, and football fanatics alike recently gathered at Full Sail Live for a VIP screening of Tim Tebow: Everything in Between. The documentary – directed by Full Sail Digital Media graduate Chase Heavener – follows the journey of Tim Tebow, former University of Florida quarterback, Heisman Trophy winner, and Denver Broncos quarterback, from the end of the 2010 Sugar Bowl through NFL Draft Day in 2010.
Much of Tebow’s fanbase (along with the rest of the country) got to witness his story when Everything in Between aired on ESPN in January as part of their “Year of the Quarterback” series. But those who were lucky enough to get tickets to the Full Sail event also were able to engage in a discussion with both Tebow and Heavener after the film’s screening.
The discussion – led by Full Sail’s Director of Visual Arts Rick Ramsey and Sports Marketing & Media Program Director Josh Mora – saw Heavener speak about the year he spent following Tebow during his intense training that led up to the NFL Draft. The filmmaker also talked a bit about his role as President of Fiction, the Winter Park-based creative production team that produced the documentary. Tebow and Heavener also participated in a Q&A session with students and special guests at the end of the event.
