Recently, we caught up with some of our grads who are currently living and working in Mumbai, India. Over dinner at Aurus in the Mumbai neighborhood of Juhu, some members of our International Outreach team got a chance to hear about the recent career moves from these grads.
- Ashish Manchanda (1997 Recording Arts grad) has worked with numerous global musicians and companies, including Michael Jackson and Skywalker Studios. He is the owner of Flying Carpet Productions and The Media Tribe audio/media school, has worked on MTV Unplugged India, numerous Bollywood films, and Slumdog Millionaire. Ashish owns several recording studios in India.
- Aditya Modi (2000 Recording Arts grad) has worked on numerous Bollywood movies, as well as Slumdog Millionaire. Aditya is managing director (and partner-owner) of Modi Digital, a recording/mixing company with studios in Chennai and Mumbai.
- Nisha Chandak (2010 Entertainment Business bachelor’s grad) is an Event Coordinator for Only Much Louder Entertainment, “an artist-management firm, concert production house, event management company, and indie music label rolled into one.”
- Shirin Sukheswala (1995 Recording Arts grad) is artist managing director for Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy. SEL is one of the biggest musical groups in India, responsible for the composition and production of than 50 Bollywood blockbuster soundtracks.
