Full Sail Celebrates Memorial Day on the Walkway [Photos]

If you were on campus last Friday, the loud music you heard floating through the air was the product of the Memorial Day Block Party, an annual celebration hosted by the Student Veterans Union, Student Community Association, and the Military Admissions and Veterans Affairs teams. Dozens of students enjoyed free food and entertainment while checking out local vendor booths and learning more about military organizations like the Camaraderie Foundation and the Orlando Vet Center. Students also got a chance to climb inside an up-armored Humvee and Army combat vehicle, which were parked on the walkway.

Check out a few photos from the event below.

I actually was able to go that day. I think is a nice gesture of Full Sail to make an inside campus gathering. The free pizza was awesome, too bad it was too hot that day hahaha. I enjoyed the Full Sail Harlem Shake in the backlot, I think it was hilarious with the army vehicle on the back.

I was there and it was really fun, sadly we didn’t have enough time because of the classes.
I was walking and I saw Piazza, chips and cookies, but I couldn’t get the pizza, I guess I was too late. I tried to grab a pizza when classmate told me but I was out of luck

I agree with you, we didn’t have time to see the mini concert that they were doing. It’s a shame you couldn’t eat pizza hahahahahahaa. I didn’t see the cookies because as I said it was too hot to be around.
