Fire Dancers Take Over Soundstage for Grad-Produced Video Shoot

A few weekends back, Full Sail’s soundstage was transformed into a full-fledged music video set for local singer/songwriter Leilani Wolfgramm. Carl Verna, a Lab Specialist in the Film program’s Producing Independent Film course, worked with Film grad Jay Tauzin and a team of students to direct and produce the video, which featured Polynesian dancers, professional fire dancers, and plenty of fog machines.

Before the video shoot last month, Jay talked to students in Carl’s class about the music video production industry. Since graduating in 2007, Jay has produced music videos for Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Wiz Khalifa, and more. He’s based out of Hollywood, California.

Check out a few photos from the shoot below.

does full sail ever take on or accept a story, in this case I’m talking about a children’s fairy tale that’s never been done before, and turn it into a movie?
