Film Grad Adam Wingard Directs 'You're Next,' in Theaters Today

In theaters today is You’re Next, a low-budget home invasion horror film about a wealthy family targeted by a gang of mysterious killers during a family vacation. Critics have been calling the film, directed by 2002 Film grad Adam Wingard, a fresh twist on the horror genre, and it even features a cameo from Wingard’s friend and colleague, actor-director Joe Swanberg, whose own movie, Drinking Buddies, is also in theaters today. If you’ve seen any promotion for You’re Next, complete with killers clad in sheep and wolf masks, you’ll probably agree it looks pretty creepy.

Adam – a director, editor, and cinematographer – has directed more than a dozen horror shorts and feature films, including A Horrible Way to Die, V/H/S and V/H/S 2. His next project is The Guest, which he’s currently filming in New Mexico.

Congratulations to Adam, and check out the trailer for You’re Next below.
