Film Fridays: ‘Empty Helmet’

For a 13-minute student film, Empty Helmet does an excellent job of targeting every movie-watching emotion: There are happy moments, sad moments, bittersweet ones, tragic ones, and more. The film follows a day in the life of Paul Fischer, a fireman (and husband and father) newly back on the job. Empty Helmet was written and directed by grad Tom Droste and originally premiered at the August 2010 GradFest.
