DAD Grad Brett Novak Returns to Full Sail to Share His Work and Insight with Students

After graduating from Full Sail’s Digital Arts & Design degree program in 2007, Brett Novak made the move out to Los Angeles and found work as a VFX Supervisor and Lead Artist at the Hollywood-based production/post house Bandito Brothers. Two years later, he shifted his efforts towards becoming a full-time freelance artist.

Brett recently returned to Full Sail to speak to students about his experiences working in the industry, both on his own and under the employment of Bandito Brothers. He also took questions from a classroom of students, offering his insight and advice about finding the right job and staying inspired.

He also showed off some of the highlights from his demo reel, which includes music videos from Lil Wayne, Paramore, and Beyonce; commercials for NASCAR, BMW, Kellogs Corn Pops, and Volkswagon; and his own original short films, documentaries, and even some of the projects that he worked on while he was a student at Full Sail.
