Contest: Win a Pair of Florida Film Festival Vouchers

florida-film-festival-contest

The 21st annual Florida Film Festival kicks off this weekend, and Full Sail is excited to be celebrating its ninth year as the event’s primary sponsor. More than 150 films will be featured during the 10-day fest, including four that Full Sail students, faculty, and grads have production credits on. To celebrate, we’ve got three pairs of Florida Film Festival vouchers to give away. Just answer the following question in the comments below:

Several Full Sail grads have worked on some of this year’s biggest upcoming movies. Which summer blockbuster are you most looking forward to seeing?

We’ll pick three commenters at random on Thursday afternoon, who will each receive two festival vouchers. Be sure to check us out on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram (FullSailUniversity) all week for other chances to win. Good luck!

Note: The vouchers do not grant direct admission to any film; you must redeem them for individual tickets at the box office. If the selected film is sold out because of advance ticket sales, the voucher will not guarantee admission.

There are so many great movies coming out this summer, but i think i am most excited to see Rock of ages and Prometheus. ROA was partially filmed in a club i used to frequent in ft. Lauderdale and it will be great to. See how it comes through. Great cast all around as well.

  • What Blockbusters am I looking foreword to most? Well, Its doesn’t get much realer than “The Dark Knight Rises” and “Prometheus”. Opening Night. First in line. I’m There. Hopefully some Film Festival vouches come my way so I can discover even more!

I am looking forward to Batman: The Dark knight rises the most this summer. This is because it is directed by my favorite director and I am a fan of the batman series.  Also the new Bourne movie. The Bourne legacy looks really good.  This summer will be filled with massive blockbuster movies I am sure will get some of my money.

  • There are so many great movies that I have seen Full Sail contributors, I just recently saw RANGO and loved it. The next movie I would like to see that would be coming out is “The Dark Knight Rises”, I have liked most batman movies, I’m a little unsure on how this will play out because I wasn’t a huge fan of the last one, but I’m looking forward to this one in hopes it will blow the last one out of the waters.

  • The Dark Knight Rises

  • I am excited to see “The Avengers” because I plan on brushing up on all the movies that have lead up to this one, “Men in Black III”, “The Dark Knight Rises”, and “The Amazing Spiderman”. Also, “Brave” looks interesting for animated movies. It’s hard to choose just one, but if I had to pick a favorite it would be Spiderman. I am curious to see what the filmmakers do.

“God Bless America” because, let’s face it, how can a movie about a murderous rampage that is written AND directed by Bobcat Golthwait not be completely awesome.

  • Without a doubt, Ted. Just by the trailer I can see this being Movie Of The Year.

  • Innovative Jones

    MIB 3

  • The Avengers!

The Dark Knight Rises. I have no idea how Chris Nolan is going to wrap things up but I fully expect to leave the theater with my brain dripping out of my ears.

  • Im gonna go with the Avengers just because Capt. America is my favorite super hero.

  • The AVENGERS!!

  • Well I like Batman, so I really looking forward for The Dark Knight Rises.

  • Reagan Johnson

    Avengers!

  • The Dark Knight Returns is the movie I’m looking forward to. And i remember a Full Sail student worked on The Dark Knight, and Inception, but that’s the movie i’m totally psyched for.

  • Hands Down, my most anticipated blockbuster this year is Django Unchained. Quentin Tarantino can do absolutely no wrong in my mind. From Reservoir Dogs to Inglorious Basterds, his dialog and especially his music choices have been unparalleled. That, and the fact his last movie took place in 1940’2 Nazi Germany proves he can pull of a period piece, which Django Unchained is. With one of my favorite actors, Leonardo DiCaprio, who’s done such amazing things under Nolan and Scorcese, at the top of the bill, I’m looking forward to seeing what he does under the direction of possibly the best director alive today. C’mon, Tarantino, Dicaprio, Samuel L. Jackson, Jaime Foxx and Sasha Baron Cohen all sharing the screen, How is this not on the news??

  • The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises and The Avengers.

    • Congrats, Michael! You were randomly selected as one of the three winners. E-mail me at acassell@fullsail.com to arrange pickup for your vouchers.

  • I’m most looking forward to The Bourne Legacy. Really excited to see what Jeremy Renner does with the series. Also stoked to see The Avengers and Dark Knight Rises.

  • Looking forward to seeing The Avengers after its taken so long for all of the movies to be successfully filmed and as such, this is quite a big deal for me personally.

  • Without a question, TKDR

  • Joseph Bishop

“The Dark Knight Rises” only because Christopher Nolan and his collaborative team never cease to amaze me. It would be an honor to work with him on a production.

Which summer blockbuster are you most looking forward to seeing?

I look forward to seeing the “Hunger Games”.

  • I was watching the preview for the Avengers with one of my girlfriends a couple months ago and we both literally squealed like teeny-boppers at a Bieber concert – so yeah – I guess you could say The Avengers is the film I’m looking forward to the most!

At the film festival however, I’d really like to see the documentary by Sylvia Caminer – An Affair of the Heart. I’ve known about this one for nearly two years now and I’m really looking forward to it!!!

I’m surprised no one mentioned this one. The Dictator, no doubt! I’m a huge fan of Sacha Baron Cohen’s work and all the risks he takes. I’m sure he won’t disappoint.

  • I’m looking forward to “The Amazng spiderman” because I’d like to see them try to make it better than the last series with Tobby Maguire. Plus Marc Webb did an amazing job with 500 days of summer so I have some high hopes.
